Hey all,
I've seen mixed reviews on the Englander 12 FP. Someone offered to sell me a year old one for $500. Looking to heat a 1000 foot cape. Worth it or pass up for something more efficient?

in size they are like the nc13 but without secondary burn and ceramic baffle ,id hunt for a nc13 its a much more efficient stove
that means less cutting and longer burn times over the 12

You might be able to get a used NC13 for the same money, or better yet, get one new. My local Lowe's: was $799, now $729, less 10% (buy a coupon online for a few bucks) = $656. Take the 30% tax credit and you're down to about $460!

(NC30 was $1099, now $999, less 10% = $899, less 30% = $629!)
