When adjusting the control panel heat buttons from 1 to 9, the feed auger does not turn at an increased rate. Has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it.

Top auger is not supposed to turn constantly like the bottom auger it turns then stops turns then stops.
Thanks I was told that the duration of turn would increase with each setting between 1 and 5 seconds depending on the heat range that was selected.
