Hi Everyone,
Quick question for anyone with an Englander 30.. Can you let me know the height from the floor to the front of the stove (the lowest flat portion of the top)? Also if possible, the depth of that portion of the top?
I have a fireplace with a low lintel (24") but it is wide and deep enough (29w x 36d) to fit this stove - just not high enough.. I had a crazy idea - if the front top of the stove didnt exceed the 24" lintel, I might be able to slide it on it's back into the opening and then stand it up and pull it forward.
I wouldnt expect it to be easy at all, but maybe without the door and firebricks, it could be done..
I really like the value and the spec's on this stove, so I figured I'd give it a shot.
Thanks,
Scott
