Hi all! I am hoping someone might be able to help me out. I have an Englander PDVC that I have had for 3+ years and has been great for the most part, but I seem to be having some problems lately. The stove starts up just fine and runs from anywhere between 2 and 8 hours, and then it seems like the top auger just stops feeding pellets. I know the auger is working, because it feeds pellets to begin with. The other odd thing is that it does not provide any error messages when the stove shuts down. I just did a thorough cleaning and it is still shutting down. Any thoughts??

Had a similar problem. If your are facing the stove, on the right side of the burn box about one third the way up is a small tube protruding out the side wall. Carefully take something somewhat flexible and push up into the tube. Carbon sometimes plugs that tube. I had used a flexible piece of wire to clean mine. That had solved my shut down.
Hope that helps.

Go to Radio Shack or any electronics store and buy a couple of clip leads and 110 volt pilot lamps, hook them on to the auger motor leads and see if the power STOPS coming to the motor, or the motor just stops. You could clip on a meter there as well. You can also tell by carefully feeling the motor (NOT the gearbox) after it stops- if it is getting power but not turning, it will get REAL hot.
