I recently help a friend of mine install an Englander pellet inster in his fireplace. He wanted to go to pellets after seeing my Englander 240 and how great it is.

The problem is that his unit is faulting out and giving an error code of E-3, the manual says that this is high temperature but in the troubleshooting section it says it means faulty blower. He says that when the stove faults out that the fan make weird noise. He also says that he can clear the code and restart and it will run fine. May run for a couple of days and them fault again. Plan to call Englander tech next week but I see alot of great advice here and thought I would try this first. Any help or sugggestion will greatly be appreciated.
