First I would like to say, great site with a wealth of info. I'm looking to buy my first pellet stove, the Enviro Meridian. Local dealer has quoted my $3000 installed, could I do better or should I jump on this deal?

Freestanding or insert?
I have an Enviro Meridian insert that I got 5 years ago and mine was around $2,600 installed. Keep in mind that inserts tend to cost more than freestanding ones.
I've had very good luck with it, no major problems at all.
