Fair price for my splitter

looking to sell a very lightly used 26 ton Iron and Oak 26 ton with a Honda gx motor. Only split 5 cords on it.

What would be a fair price to ask?

New are around $2400. I would start around $2000 and see where it goes.

I do not think Ebay is be a good venue for something like that, however, and I should think that with a little patience you could get $1600 to $1900 for it. That is still rather a long way from the price of a new one. My belief is that you need to stay under $2,000 as so many people buying splitters simply do not know one from another.

Offer to throw in a couple bags of kolaches and you might do even better.
 
Just remember that it is much easier to go down in price than up!! Remember too that there are a lot of low ballers out there that will offer you $500 and hope you have no idea of what it is worth.
