Niece bought a BK under the "air quality" improvement for Fairbanks.
Got a $300 coupon from BK & with the Fairbanks rebates will end up paying less than $500 for a new BK (king) stove.
Don't know all the particulars about the install, time line & new chimney,
(she said the program also help with the cost & install of a new chimney)
that's quite a big savings.

That is a sweet deal. She must be a happy camper!

that only applies if you replace a non EPA stove with a EPA stove. So I am assuming she got had an old stove that they replaced ? If so you get a 1500 borough tax credit and the 10% federal tax credit so it can work out to some pretty big savings.

That's awesome. Not in the least bit jealous, really.
