what do you recommend for a fan or vent to circulate the heat from the gas fireplace? Right now it works a little to warm the room up but it doesn't produce a lot of heat. under our fireplace has an electrical outlet but it's completely cool underneath it - would you put a fan on top?

What is the make and model of the unit and is there an optional fan from the maker?

I am guessing they have a prefab wood unit with a gas log in it...
