While you're in there avoid looking at the grotesque welds. Ugh. I hope they DPT them... or at least do a smoke test.
 
Took a look at my cat today..this is after one full season and a few weeks this month.
I did not clean it..nothing to clean.
I shined a flashlight through it and it looked great.

Same here HotCoals. This was yr3. Looks the same on yr5 with 35+ cords through it. Its had a few face wipes each year with a paint brush.

Somewhere I read 12,000 hours life on a combustor.
I wonder if ceramic & metal ones have the same life span?
16.5 months before they start losing efficiency. About 3 years for my burn seasons.
Not that it needs replaced, just start loosing efficiency.
