Question:
One of my big yellow firebricks (not a decorative red brick) has come loose from the others and gone backwards leaving spaces around it- but it is still there. Is it dangerous to still use the fireplace? Can it be fixed? By me? ?
Answer:
Use a special cement called "refractory cement" available at your masonry yard- to put it back in/ Clean and wet all surfaces before you cement it back in place.
