I have a woodstock soapstone fireview and had it for about half a season. When loading the stove I bumped the air chute and it fell into the firebox..I thought I placed it back in its place properly, but it fell again..Wondering if I screwed up and if anyone else out there has had a similar problem...

Bumping for response. I don't have this stove, but I'd give the folks at Woodstock a call. From what I hear, they have a good support system

Definitely call Woodstock.

Also in your manual, on page 21 you will find the diagram for what you need.

Sorry for late update, called Woodstock they were fantastic as usual, sent me a new air chute for free even though part was out of warranty, without any hassle at all, also sent specific instructions on how to replace part..not just exploded view of interior of stove..took about five minutes to replace and I have not had a problem since..

I'm curious to how the air chute just fell into the fire box? Was it not bolted in?
