Just now seeing this post...but I was seeing it in the signatures.

I'm proud/ashamed to say that I'm in the 20 to 25 cord = FBCJ (full-blown cordwood JUNKIE) category. I haven't counted in a while, but I've done some cutting recently and have probably gotten back above 20, but not by much.

Get 'er split and stacked, MM. Then it'll count (look at it as if we're motivating you to get it seasoning faster!)

Makes sense to me. Otherwise I'll just consider all of the non-felled, non-CSS'd trees on the 160 acres I can cut on. I have thousands of cords then. :)

Well I figured that one would have to have all your wood CSS, but I just thought I'd throw it out there . I'm just a low level barely social hoarder, with a lot of CSSing to do. With 120 big tops on the ground and a management thinning cut of every 3rd or 4th tree on my 25 acres to cull, I'll be busy for a while.

Don't worry fellas. I'm working on a sticker fer the back window of yer truck. It won't be too obtrusive, probably only like 18" x 12" or so..:p

Honestly, it's just a small decal you can elect or decline on accepting. Kinda like a 'badge of honor'. I'll try to get a tally of who wants one and get them before Christmas.

How you going to prevent misleading the public about our wood problem?

we'll start out with stickers and see how that pans out........I got a good design in mind. And a good slogan. And a girl up the street who is a MAGICIAN with decals. I'm gonna get her to make lots of them if the price is right.

  19. I would vote if it can fit in your stove it should count. I would also like to see the stove those rounds are going in. :0

I thought when I attended these sessions the idea was to admit the problem without being "labeled". Ya know, first names only and such?

I confess.... Though I dropped a 10" x 50 ft Bur Oak snag on Monday morning, that's the first time in 2 weeks that I worked in the woods._g Milling & roughing out small slabs & woodturning blanks in the backyard & with bandsaw in shop dont count of course.

See I can stop any time I want.....;)

Holy frig! I want a sticker! Or two. I guess I better change my signature and officially get on board with this thing. Scotty, buddy, pal, friend-o-mine. I take back everything I said about getting your remodeling done. ;em I never even said it. Doesn't matter when it gets down. After the New Year will be fine. That wife of yours can wait her turn dammit! We have needs too. Stickers! Need anything friend? ;)

Sign me up for one too!

Is it a bad sign that I was up before dawn this morning, and it was 5 degreesF outside? Used my torch to heat up the head on the splitter so it'd fire (it didn't like that much). Split and stacked for about 45 min before going to work. Hmmm, can't stand to see that birch on the ground that I felled and bucked last week. Nothing like splitting frozen green wood at sunrise!
