You ought to be there pretty soon, 'Stang. You're well on your way!

Hey, if we had a Chainsaw Hoarder's Club, you and Dexterday would be the presidents of that! Holy Chit, you guys have a lot of saws!

I probably had around 30 chainsaws, but most of them are in boxes in the barn loft awaiting ressurection. I sold some off the past couple of years, but still have a HOARD of them!

I would be on the board, but Boog, Stihlhead, HittinSteel, Thistle, Yourself, Etc still take the Cake (Boog is the President by a loooong shot!!!)

After that other 036 PRO, I have decided to give my Father the MS260 I just rebuilt. He was excited as all get out!! I'm still gonna take it from time to time and clean, sharpen, and overall PM it, but its now his. And my MS192-t is out on loan to.my buddies Dad. I get to cut unlimited dead ash at his Farm, while he gets to use my 192. His Husq 350 is to much for him to start (78 yrs old).

So I only have 4 saws here at the moment (bidding on another Pro right now though :)) the 3 - 036's and the 460  So I gotta stock back up. If I dont get the 036 Im bidding on, my next saw will be 371/372XP.. For sure ;)

Brought home 2 cords of 3 year old oak and ash tonight from my uncles..... There is prolly 2-3 more yet..... And i got my uncle 046 mag, 009L and another almost new 046 that was hit by a skidder. Needs a tank and some plastic to be operational.. And what you see in my sig is just the ones I let people know that i have.... :)

Dex, I wish you would have gotten ahold me, or gotten to know me sooner...Just sold an awesome 371xp for fairly cheap. If you want one, I can get you one for 3-400 that isn't beat or wore out. Please do not buy anything off of ebay.. unless you like getting screwed.. i have amish connections, both stihl and husky.....And i have a small stockpile of 371/372 parts......

You need to stop buying so many 036's...you need to try a MS361. Especially a ported one... they are basically a 60cc mini 372...better air filtration (borrowed from husky, quad trasfer ports, again from husky) and a spring A/V system like the husky... the 362 isn't as hot... it is heavier with less power. But regardless, you need to run a ported saw before buying anymore....

I have never been this far ahead, around 11 cords of red and white oak split and stacked due to the storms in our area this past year. It's a good feeling. Split some extra small and had some punky oak left from last year to burn this year. Good to know it will hurt less next year to replace what's been burned, but I'm looking forward to some hurt - *exercise*. :)

The Pellet Pigs have been around much longer, but because its pretty easy to make entry level in both categories, it may be a crap shoot.

I would give the nod to the Pigs though. Just because the "Club" has been around a bit?? IDK...

I try and keep several years of BOTH Fuels (Wood and Pellet), then again, I tend to hoard a lot of things :)

I've graduated to BTU processor since October. Four cords of kiln dried oak ends in the basement (started with 5, used a cord of it so far this year) 4.5 cords C/S/S at the house now( used half a cord of splits) and three more cords of oak and locust cut and waiting to be split and stacked.

And I have a good ten cords worth minimum to c/s/s over the next six months in various spots I have access to.

I've only burned about 1.5 cords so far this year. I thought I would have burned more by now. We're burning 24/7 in the Fireview. Anyone else have figures for how much they've burned so far this season?

Just a wood-a-holic, may grow when the baby bear is installed in spring, will have two full time burners going in the winter.

Welcome to the club, Dave! I see you live in Cape May, we go down there quite often......
We didn't go last summer, went down to the Outer Banks this year for some different scenery. I miss The Ugly Mug and The Lobsterhouse.....two of my faves down that way!

Thank you Scott, Im born and raised here but the military has taken me many places. I've had a stove in the house for the last 20+ years, a Fisher grandma bear. Prior to that, my father and mother had a Grandpa bear in here in a different location in the house, it was so "dam" hot I had to sell it and found a grandma a few years later. I have a baby bear which is going up in my family/dinning room this coming spring so I'll be acquiring more wood. I'm sitting on a little over three cords now and just recently scored a good size maple tree which should give me about another cord said and done. If you ever decide to come to Cape May in the near future, give a shout, we'll get together and have a frosty beverage of some sort:cool:. Not a whole lot of wood burners down here, but the ones that do, all know each other and this area is not what I would call easy for gathering a stock pile of wood.
