I'll take BTU Possesser for 100. But a little nudge and I could move on up. Which should be like 5-6 years ahead.

OK, OK, I'm sick too! I hoard wood, just to burn it to ashes::-) And yes, it has been said it is a little ironic that a fire chief has fire in his house on a regular basis;) Hope y'all are happy now.;sick

Exactly we feed our sickness with more excesses of wood! It's pure evil genius at its finest .. We must feed the beast that lives within us and contain it in the wood that we hoard! lol

That invokes Charlton Heston/NRA-like images of, "you'll have to pry this split from my cold dead hands!" :)

    Im a wood a holic,
I was out looking for wood today while walking the dog, and then after work a bit. I cant seem to leave it alone, what if I need it? My wife says we have enough but Im sure I can get a few more truck loads before the snow blocks the roads, even if it ends up being next years wood.... I had a nice larch picked out in the bush but the new road is soft under my boots today after a few days of rain. The wife and I will try to get in and not get stuck in a few days once its dried out. Saw fresh bear tracks while walking the husky today.

BTU Possesor request. 12 full cord css 3 year +-. I like the idea of a decal. The Nissan Xterra forum I belong to has them. The large see thru decal for the back gless would be great. They also protect you from broken glass from a off target split.

Just realized I have to get some more CSS so's i don't get demoted, starting to burn a bit at night.

Fiskars is sitting sad and lonely in the evenings as I walk past her with a bow, trying hard not to look her in the bit....

Yeah I noticed that to! I left the Husky at home today but took the Husky chainsaw!! We went back today and my worries about sinking never happened. I picked up a 1/2 cord of Larch. Still sitting in the back of the truck waiting for someone to unload it! Less than a 3 minute drive away!

Pretty sure we're hoarders. And we've still got a reasonable sized pile to pick up from the folks who gave us all the beetle kill pine last year (beetles are still working on their remaining trees so they thinned them again), a few hunks of box elder and the rest of the stash we had at our old house. Meanwhile we had already picked up more pine and box elder already, so we're on our way to having a stack of to be split just like we had earlier this year. funny thing is, we don't think it's nearly enough and most people that stop over joke about how we have a LOT of wood on the stacks. I think our one neighbor thinks we're nuts. they asked if we were going to sell it, lol.

Exactly, Ray. Funny thing is that its usually those same people moaning about not having any money during the winter months because their heating bills are so high!
