Very good point about cord being really cord , I got it in dump truck, never really saw cord "in person". So ,wondering if got the cord . Especially looking at some dirty odd shaped pieces .
Dmitry, to get a feel for what you have; a cord is a volume of wood (128 cubic feet), typically referenced as four feet deep by four feet high by eight feet long. Most people get their wood cut 16" in length, which is one-third of four feet. So to make up for the depth being 1/3 just muliply the length by three (3 x 8 = 24). So if you stack your 16" splits four feet high on average, then every 24 feet is one cord. If you have 36 feet then divide that by 24 and you'll see that you have 1.5 cord.
 
It's like stacking more money in there to burn also..lol.
Ain't that the truth. Man I don't see how people can only burn those and still come out ahead.
