fisher hearth stove.

I found a fisher double door hearth stove on kijji for 100 rear exhaust. do they operate the same as a freestanding stove. i have had great sucess with my grampa bear in the garage really cranks out the heat. i want to heat approx 1500 sq ft (2 storey) with it. we have tried a temp wood down draft stove but we do not seem to get the heat out of it that the fishers use to give. we burn the same wood in our primary stove (lakewood) and get great burns with little smoke. thanks
