Came across a new data point at EIA today that i thought might be of interest to some of you here that use pellets.

Interesting. I was aware of the Drax power plant conversion to wood pellets, but didn't realize that single plant consumes 3-4 times as much pellets as all the residential pellet users in the US. I wonder how comprehensive their pellet sales data really is - if there might be a lot of small scale producers they miss. Of course, January through June is probably the lower half of the year for residential heating pellet sales.

Also, part of me is inclined to say they should include compressed biomass logs in this category, too.
