good price for a pretty decent big cat stove, providing nothin is broken in it. It sounds like he is describing the specs on a what I knew as the "extra large convection heater" or "FA288" back in the day. I never used one, but I had a customer that bought one in the Adirondaks and used it to heat a large retail store. Very long burns and I think he had it for 5 years or so before the guys started crapping out.
