Free Stihl got a clutch question

Had a friend give up on an old 020av I got it running but the chain binds up, the clutch/gear drive don't seem right do you need a wheel puller to get that apart?
 
Thats an out board clutch right?

Clutch is on the outside of the case? Top handle saw normally are.

yea it's outboard i can't tell if it's threaded which is why I don't want to let it rip with the puller.

Reminds me I have to get mine out of the truck....Should be a clip never took one off but pretty sure a puller not right.
 
Yes it is reverse threaded, use a piston stop, or and air rachet.
