This company is in Amesbury Mass. Martignetti Enterprises, Inc. They sell Maine Woods pellets. Not my first choice but I picked up 15 bags at $6.50 a bag. Telephone number is 1-978-388-2500. They do it right. You call and they put you on a list and call when the pellets are in. They will hold the pellets for you. I have seen some places on Craiglist selling pellets for $8.00 a bag.

8 a bag. Saw some charging 20 a bag. Naturally, I trolled the listing.

I know, I know. We are suppose to act like adults. But $20 a bag? Come on!

If only those people would figure out that at 8 bucks a bag they they are pretty much canceling out any savings compared to heating oil....

Its unfortunate you seem to pride yourself on giving people a bad deal.

As you have stated before in other threads you're selling box store pellets at 8 a bag. Even at 7 a bag I would be stretched to call a deal. It's called price gouging.

Nothing wrong with making a buck however you're proud of your gouging.

You really have to be an addict to pay 2X the price for pellets....instead of turning on the central heat or even plugging in an electric heater......
    IMHO, of course!

It may be legal, but it's not very ethical IMHO......this is like my doctor tripling his rates when he finds out I have a disease!

There are all kinds of people here...some willing to help out...and some who will only take....The fella who brags about getting $8.00/ bag "all day" and taking the proceeds to "go on a 2 week Hawaiian cruse" ....well he falls into even a different category... and he will curse when HE needs and no one is "there for him"

Hey ice guy I bet you fall in the 52,percent bracket that collects government assistance and you probably have a double wide in your local trailer park . Believe me there is nothing wrong with a double wide .. BUT I bet your believe in distribution of wealth in America .. Every year I donate to local charities to help people in need and less fortunate .. With that being said.. if people choose to buy my product it's there choice and I'm not the most expensive out there .. But with that being said if you need a few bags I'm more then willing to help someone out who is less fortunate .. ;)!

It goes without saying that these type of personal attacks are not welcome here.

It may be "great about this country" that folks can overcharge and yap at each other, but the great thing about private property such as this forum is that we can set rules and guidelines in an effort to be nice and help as many people as possible. Hopefully those who enjoy rants can find other outlets on the web for such yapping (as I myself have often done!).
