    Question:

    I have a 36" Martin Ind Pre-Fab fireplace. I would like to install a LP insert to augment my home's heat pump. I value heating capacity over looks. Do you have any brand or model suggestions..



    Answer:

    Avalon- Mendota and Jotul (and others) make good ones. You must carefully check the size of your fireplace- as the fit is sometimes tight. This will narrow down your choices.
