Question:

Hello, I'm looking into converting my wood stove to natural gas. I have a Dauntless Cast Stove by Vermont Castings. The problem is I need gas logs that are only 16" in length. Could you possiby help me?

PS, I was told it would be no trouble to convert to gas when it was bought.

Answer:

Vermont Castings did make a gas log set just for that unit. However, since the unit has not been manufactured for 8 years or so, it might be difficult to find the set.

If none can be found, you might fit a R.H. Peterson (brand)12" or 16" log in there. Contact Peterson to find out...I think they may have manufactured the original Dauntless logs.
