Hello, I inherited this stove, whitfield Quest Insert WP4 from my grandparents. It was barely run their because it leaked smoke into the house. Once I removed the stove I found a ripped or burned gasket at the removable connector to the chimney liner. The gasket I'm referring to will seal the connector to the horizontal part of the exhaust. (see picture). I've looked online for a replacement gasket, but to no avail. My question to you is, Can I use this gasket here, http://www.stove-parts-unlimited.com/Whitfield_3_Quick_Disconnect_Gasket_p/61040040.htm , along with high temp silicone sealant to ensure a gas tight seal? It seems like it would work to me. The only real reason I believe I need the gasket is because the clamp is loose without anything under the connector.

Thanks.

It is a 3" opening. I contacted them directly and they said it is the correct gasket to use. Thanks.
