i have a VC goldenwarm 2280 direct vent gas firplace

it wont ignite or spark so i am assuming it is the electronic ignition

CFM won't help , they don't support the unit anymore, no dealer in north america has the ignitor unit.

do i have any option other than an entire unit and installation?

i live in upstate ny if that helps
