I am going to rebuild my 1980 circa VC Defiant 1A this summer. Would appreciate some leads on a good source of the rebuild kit. Located in the Tri-State area for shipping purposes or pickup.

    Thanks for any guidance.

Many parts for the older Vermont Castings stoves are no longer available. You can contact a Vermont Castings dealer for specific information.

Cozy Cabin in Warrensburg is a nice outfit and is a large distributor for VC Parts.

Woodman'sis cool, but you'llhave to have it shipped and it's heavy. Pick up would be good if poss. somewhere. If you need something that's no longer made, let me know. Chances are I'll have it. And good luck!!!!!!!!!
