Got In A gas Line This Morning

Walked Murph at 5:30, hit the line ( 2 blocks down on Route 25) at 5:45 AM. Took half an hour, but the truck is full, just in time for the Noreaster tomorrow

No sign of rising prices, really

Got lucky today on Flanders Rd. this afternoon. Pulled right in no wait, felt like I hit the lotto

I hate waiting in line at the gas pump...have to try and get in a line where the gas filler is on the same side as the others in line.

Glad you got the gas, sorry you had to wait! Anyone else remember the gas rationing lines in the 70's...If I remember correctly it was odd number (last digit on license plate) one day then even number the next day.

Yes , your are correct, odd even day. I was there for that. At one point if you had a half a tank you weren't even allowed to get gas. Imagine if they imposed something like that now.

Never had a problem in the 70's around here. Never remember any line-ups either.
