My Dwyer magnehelic gauge showed up this morning via the UPS fellow.

Got it out of the box and looked it over. Looks to be brand new and never used.

Goes from Zero to .5 (1/2 inch) of H2O column reading at full scale.

Graduated in .01"

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet, a new toy to play with.

I really did not expect it this week at all.

Just have to get a hose and make a small tapered probe that will insert into the stoves test port.

No biggy really.

Got the clap, once, years ago. Hope the magnumdedoodeedahday ain't as bad as that was. All this talk about hose and small tapered probe makes me wonder, tho'. Didn't expect it when I got it either, if that makes ya feel any better.

NOOOOOOOO nothing like getting the clap.

Just a handy little doohicky to check the pressure in the firebox is all.

No need for vaseline or any of that other stuff . HAAAAAAAAAA

I need to know what the pressure in the firebox is on my stove so I can buy the right low pressure switch to retrofit to the stove.
