Hello all,

New to the forum, but have been lurking for a while. Picked up a Grandpa Bear this weekend to put into a cabin and have a few questions after going through all the threads. This one appears to be one of the older models, but it also looks like someone has added a heat shield along the back and bottom of the stove. I just wanted to find out if this is actually original or if it was added later. I haven't seen this one in any image I have seen and it just seems odd that others wouldn't have it. Any info would be great.

Thanks. 056.JPG 057.JPG

Henrod, It is enclosed on the sides and is just open at the front on the bottom and at the top on the back.
