Feeling the Heat

After nearly burning 2 tons of Greenways I have finally dialed in the stove for a good burn. Seems that the corn setting is the way to go. I can run on the corn setting at 0 flame height setting and normal elevation and I get a great burn. Can't believe it took me so long to figure this out.

how long have you been burning this way?

is the combustion blower any louder?

how long is your vent and are you using outside air?

The Greenway's burn good and produce great heat in our Lopi Yankee.

We just picked up 2 more tons this afternoon to put in the shed for next winters heating season.

They were still at $189.oo a ton at Wood Floors Plus in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

Been burning like this for the last 10 days.

No the blower is not any louder.

Direct vent, this is an insert conversion from a existing propane fireplace.

No outside air.

I wan't sold on them at first, these seem to be a dirty pellet (a lot of ash) but ever since I seemed to find a sweet spot in my stove I might be tempted to purchase them again.

not too crazy bout the longer ignitor on time.

I have burned close to a ton of Greenways in my Harman P38. Initially I thought they burned pretty clean but now I do find they produce a lot of ash. Great heat and low fines however.

Forgot about that aspect!
