    The Traeger pellet grills are very popular around here (two of my BIL's have them and a close friend has one). They seem to work very well although they are a little pricey. Most of the stores that sell them also sell 10-12 different types of pellets and even let you mix them (I guess some people want apple-hickory burgers).
