hello all, i have had a hampton hi200 wood insert for a couple years now.....some of the firebricks are looking pretty rough and should be replaced....has anybody done this with their hi200? the owners manual gives a parts number for a complete replacement set of brick but i wonder if i can just go to a brick shop and have them cut....thanks

Looks like they are all either standard firebrick or partial cuts of same. Should be a piece of cake for anyone with a brick saw. Be glad you don't have custom cast refractories in there...

Most of them will not need to be cut. For those that require
cutting, all you need is a wet saw for ceramic tile...
A hearth shop or a masonry supply outfit should have
both the bricks & a saw to cut them...
