I have a Harman Accentra FS model, just over a year old. A couple of days ago, the stove was throwing a 4 blink code. Though & behold, the cat pulled the room sensor cord down & chewed the end of the cord. So we ran it on stove temp rather than room temp. Bought a new room sensor cord yesterday. Cleaned the stove today, installed the new cord & it would not start in room temp mode. Started fine in stove temp & is running fine. We also double checked to make sure the cord was installed correct. Is there something we are doing wrong? Do we need to reset something to get the room sensor cord to work?

Have you tried unplugging the stove a couple minutes for a hard reset? Did the CB throw the 4 blink code again. Supposed to reset on own but never know. Did you turn up the stove enough to want to start:)

No we didn't try unplugging the stove to do a hard reset that way. Will try that. The temp was set up high enough for it to start. After cleaning the stove, replacing the cord, then starting it back up in room temp mode, it just wouldn't start at all. Switched over to starting it in stove temp mode, had no problem.
