Harman Advance Owners - Anyone else get a bunch of ash build up between the bottom of ash pan and combustion blower fan blades?

Rick , I have maybe an inch of ash build up but never enough to go into or near the combustion blower fan blades. I have 2008 Harman Advanced.

Is it possible when you last cleaned it that you did not position the two plates correctly that sit above ash pan. If positioned correctly there should be very little space between the top/back of the ash pan and these plates. If you got a gap then something is wrong.

I get some behind the box, but not to the blades.

Thanks all...mine has not been up to the blades either. I just wondered if other Advance owners had this happen. I just replaced the fan blade assembly on the combustion blower thinking that would solve the problem that has been happening for years. The old blade was pitted and rusted.
