Harman Advance Problem

My brother has a Harman Advance pellet stove.Something keeps lifting the flame deflector plate up(the cast iron plate with the grooves in each side).It slides in fine,and sits fine.The burn pot is clean,and all the carbon is scraped off.He has tried different pellets,but it still happens.Has anyone had this happen,if so was there a solution? Thanks.

Any way that you can take a picture and post it? It would be helpful in diagnosing.
