Just finishing our 5th year/20 tons and looks like the gasket is going bad.
Can supply pictures too. Can see a path from dirt buildup to glass gasket
in a couple places. Did dollar bill test in those areas and is tight so do not
think door gasket is the problem.
Do not want to break the glass so asking for help.

Thanks!

Easy, take out screws and tabs, (need an allen wrench, not sure of the size), Take off glass, remove old gasket and clean channel good. Re gasket using a high heat (500 degree) rtv, put cleaned glass in and reattach tabs with screws:cool:

Thanks!

Just be very careful handling the glass, you really don't want to have to buy a new one. I spent over $100 last year after cracking one.

I would aslo recommend when you tighten the screws that you alternate and do a little at a time so the glass seats evenly like you would a head gasket on a car. Dont tighten one screw all the way then move on to the next one. You will put un even pressure on the glass
