I know the new P61A gets almost an 80% efficiency rating. What are the ratings for the older P61/P61-2? Would they have the same efficiency with the auto igniter upgrades of the P61A? Aren't they all essentially the same stove other than the control board/igniter?
 
Once they are up and running the efficiencies are probably similar. There have been software mods over the years that may influence eff a bit. If you want better efficiency get a St Croix Prescott based on my subjective opinion and experience.
