Harman warranty

I have a brand new Accentra 52i and the auger motor is loud on it. I call the dealer about getting it replaced and they tell me I would have to pay for the service call and labor but Harman will cover the parts cost. I think that's crazy for what I paid for it. Anybody else have to deal with this? I might as well buy the motor and put it in myself.
