I'm looking at a new Harmon. We are doing some remodeling so plan on replacing the old St. Croix while we are at it. My dealer has an Absolute 43 that I really like. He says they are great stoves, I can tell he is not as excited about the XXV. I like it because it has a higher BTU. Could anyone share some experience on either of these stoves? Thanks!

Aside from high BTU's [61K], My favorite part of my P61A is the HUGE ASHPAN..

I am looking at the same two stoves. I am leaning towards the Absolute43 because of the ease of cleaning the combustion blower.

forgot to mention that EASE OF CLEANING is very important..
the easier it is to maintain the more you will end up doing it.

The absolute has a very small ash pan. Mine was burning very dirty, so bad that Harman took the stove back and I replaced it with an Accentra FS.
