Auger end getting carbon buildup. Shut down and scrape with a flat bladed screwdriver. Just happened to me a couple days ago. Good luck:) A real howler as three dogs chimed in.

I had that happen to me a few years back on my P61A. High pitched whine. Blower motor was going bad. Replaced that and no problem afterward.
Once a motor starts to scream though they seem to continue, not just once in awhile. Hope its just the carbon build up not the motor. No $$$ to for some elbow grease.
