Just looking for some opinions on those that have them.
It's on the top of my list for stoves to buy. Been measuring out the placement of the hearth and debating if I need the side load door or not. If I lock the side door shut with their lock kit, then I can make my hearth much smaller.

I've never had a stove with a side door, so I don't know the benefit of it.

Thanks,
Nick

I burned one in the stove shop and my father in law installed one in their house and we both seem to use the side load almost exclusively. I still say a toploading Hearthstone would be really cool. Maybe someday. Of course with the wrap that non-cat downdraft technology is getting it may later than sooner.
