What is the difference between just a heater cartridge and a swaged heater cartridge? Which do i want for me stove?

Don't know exactly, but from what I can tell it seems for immersion into fluids and matching holes for plate heating. I would contact the manufacture(s) to get an idea if it's even practical for a pellet stove.
