I just tried to turn on my heatilator GC150E gas fireplace floor the first time this year and the flames are very low and the front of the grill won't light sometimes. I did remove the logs and clean them and the burner itself. I checked the manual and there is nothing about this problem. Also I was wondering if there was any way to adjust the flame, as this seems to be the problem, or maybe something about air flow. I really have no idea, any help is appreciated!

Pull the glass, logs & burner & remove the burner orifice with a 1/2" wrench.
Stick a pipe cleaner or a Q-tip into the tube opening behind where the orifice
was & swirl it around. There's probably a spider's nest in there.
Reassemble & give it a shot.

I will try that right now, and let you know how it works. Thank you for the reply!
