Depends on your local gas co. what you pay for gas.Not just the national avg, cost of NG. Our local company charges more to rent their meter and for the pipes in the street than the cost of the gas itself. The 2 combined equals a high gas bill,no matter what the cost of NG is at the time. Even an empty house here is $35 a month for the meter charge taxes and a pilot light. THats $420 spent for the year with NOTHING to show for it.
