I'm needing to run my heat range setting on a 5 without overflowing the burn pot. Please help it's -39 degrees here and needing to warm the house up a bit

Taken from the King 5510 owners manual if you don't have yours handy. I would check any of the below mentioned causes to help with your burn problem.....hope it helps.

CAUSE: To rich air/fuel mixture
• Clean out the burnpot and burnpot housing (scrape anything blocking air holes)
• Make sure that the viewing door is closed and sealed properly. If not,
adjust door catch and/or replace door gaskets....(dollar bill test)
• Check that all outside connections are clear of any obstructions.
• Check the exhaust system; clean as needed.
• Make sure that both ash slides are completely closed. This can be overlooked when cleaning the stove if they are not put back right.
