I think we may have a white Christmas this year instead of a brown muddy one. It is down right chilly outside with the strong winds blowing around ! We woke up to a white landscape and that just made my day winter is upon us I do believe.

Here is a Midwest picture show from this current snow fall.

It is 31f but feels like 16f according to Accuweather however my weather station says it is 10f in the wind right now.

Pete, we were without power for over 3 hours yesterday. This is the second time in less than a week for us. Very unusual. As for the snow, there is not much here. I heard from a friend who lives NE of Flint; about straight east of us and they have much more there.

We don't have snow, and don't want it, but the power going out tomorrow is a given. Sixty mile an hour wind gust expected. But we are getting the cold part starting tonight. I consider anything under 35 degrees with 25 mile an hour winds to be cold. Just a southern wimp I guess.

We have about 3" as of right now not much but it's still snowing a little. We tried to go to Meijer's for groceries we got about 1 mile and turned around ! It is a solid sheet of ice outside right now and the wind is really blowing hard. We ended up at IGA in town which is fine with me I hate shopping and my wife hates driving in the winter so win win for both of us lol.

It was warm and wet all last week but today the temps started dropping here in New England. They have changed the forcast and now we are expecting a small system to roll in Christmas eve and give us 1-2 inches, and then a second system on the 26th that they are saying could produce double digit snow!!!!

And Ive got the entire week off work to stay home with the kids and enjoy it!

    Yesssssss!!!!!

Time to gas up the Ariens and move more wood over to the back door.

    LOL :)
    Know what you mean
Have to set the "T" stat allot lower with high winds.
Even with that , a load of wood burns up pretty fast ;)

    Glad you got winter :)
    Stay warm
