Wanted to share my latest build ( I build cars, boats, metal fab, etc...)... It's dirty from install, and tiling, etc... Figured this was a good place to show you can make a HOT woodstove yourself. Found door at wood stove parts place, and built the rest out of 3/16 th and 1/4 cold rolled plate steel. Tubes coming out go around stove and over flames with a 3/4 hp squirrel cage fan underneath on voltage dimmer..... Was fun to build but lots of work! Can fit a 22+ inch log!!! Anyone else have any homemade pic????

Nice work.

Chimney is original to the place, which had a regular fireplace in it. Chimney is concrete lined with bricks it looks like. Chimney is approx. 8"x16" inside diameter. Stove has dual outlets and dampers. Tubes go up approx. 12" up into chimney from stove... Yeah, real tricky to cram in there!!!

Very nice work... Thats gotta make for one hell of a good heat exchange system. !!!

Much better than a convection deck

Got any other pics?
