OK, some of you may remember me. I had the issue with the Whitfield Adv. II giving me Combustion problems. I have all that squared away now with a replacement blower and motor.

Anyway! Once I replaced that I found that the hose from the pressure switch to the Combustion motor is stretched out where it just falls off the barbs for each. What can I do for a replacement hose? Do I need a special order hose from a Supplier or can I pick something up at Lowes?

Thanks in advance for the help. I tried searching through here for some feedback and came up empty.

You might be able to find something at an auto parts store or HVAC shop.

Be certain it can handle the conditions inside the stove where it is used, as a temporary measure you might be able to secure those ends using some wire.

Can it stand the temps inside the stove shell and at wherever the barbs are?

That is the question that needs to be answered.

I haven't really paid that much attention to what those hoses are made of so I can't tell you.

OK, thanks for the help. I'll do some digging around locally. Maybe call the local stove shop tomorrow and see if they have suggestions.

Appreciate it Smokey!

should be able to use some PVC tubing. I think the original was latex.

Actually I ran down some references they were silicon the OP might want to contact Dave Gault of Wood Heat Stoves PM link is here: https://www.hearth.com/econtent/index.php/forums/onetwo/messages/pm/15468/

I agree. Silicon tubing is used due to the higher heat rating. The nipple's on the firebox/Auger tube can get rather hot! I found some at a local RC hobby store. They use it for fuel line on model air planes. Not cheap though!

How about a hose clamp on it?

That was my intent when I mentioned using wire on the ends as a temporary measure. I've twisted wire around hose ends before as a stop gap measure, it usually lasts for quite awhile. Just never feel comfortable leaving it that way for long.
