Guys I'm sure I'm getting ahead of myself here but I only want to order copper tubing once. I'm going to go with refrigeration tubing because of the price. I've bumped my figures up by about 16% to compensate for the smaller dia and surface area. I'm putting in a 1000-gallon un-pressurized tank. TARM recommended two 120' coils so I'm going to go with two 150' coils. One 100' coil for solar (120sq ft of panels), and one 150' coil for DHW.

Do these numbers look right?

Also I'm going to add a coil to keep the hot tub up to temp. How big a coil should I allow? I was going to use the smallest TACO pump I could get and have it cycle instead of the electric heater. What I don't want to do is scald my bum with 180-degree water.
I keep it at 104 and it usually cycles when it drops a degree or two so I'd be passing 102 degree water through the tank and probably only want to bring it up 4 or 5 degrees. It currently has a 4500 watt heater. I thought maybe a short coil 20 ft?
