I dont know how to take the reading in the firebox since opening the door will obviously negate the reading. On my stove air enter from ashpan below pot goes throughholes in pot up through heat exchanger then down behind backwall off stove to another chamber then exhaust fan. I would like to read between burn pot and heat exchanger. do these stove have a tap somewhere i dont know about for readings?

I would remove the vacuum hose from the vacuum switch and connect the draft gauge there. It is the easiest place. Many stoves operate around -0.3 WC there. Please tell us what your reading is?
